Great idea but inconsistent

I bought this app to track my runs and my caloric burn. However as a test I set it on my desk and hit start. Interestingly enough without having touched it the gps registered that I moved about 20 feet above sea level.

I think this is a great idea for an app and I want to trust it but I cant.
