Interesting concept, but very buggy

I have high hopes for this application, because what it purports to do is very useful!

Unfortunately, it is buggy... including:
- sometimes hangs... restarting the app does not continue where you left off, so your trip is essentially wasted.
- Going to the Setting screen resets all of your preferences! Also, the "buttons" on the setting screen are not actually buttons at all, but toggle switches. (for instance, if you press "English" twice, it will switch to Metric and back.
- The Pace setting never seems to work. Even when you are stationary.

For some reason, the pace display is incorrect, even on a long trip, it should merely just know the distance traveled and the time spent, and it should be easily able to calculate the average speed, rather than having to query the GPS function for your speed.

I have hopes the developer focusses more time on fixing the bugs rather than add new features such as the calorie tracker.
